Halloween Themed Dental Kids Day

Another Dental Kids Day has come and gone and as always, we were so delighted to have all the kids here, both young and old. What is Kids Day you say? Well, we’re glad you asked!
A day of fun for kids (and adults!)
Kids Day is catered to kids… mostly (we have some adults who request to come on this day too). We fill our whole schedule for the day with kids! For the event, we decorate the office and we usually have different themes.
Our decorations and themes vary from:
- Superheroes
- Circus
- Minions
- Disney movies
- and more
This time, with Halloween right around the corner, we decided to decorate the office with pumpkins, ghosts, spiders, and skeletons. We even had a little photo booth complete with a “golden chandelier” and bats, and we also had a popcorn machine!
Dental Kids Day helps relieve dental fears
Dr. Vicki Fidler is a Seattle dentist who believes it is important for children to have the best dental experience when they’re young, with the hopes of alleviating dental anxiety they may experience in the future. For most adults with dental anxiety, the reason behind their fear is due to bad experiences as a child.
Our main objective with the Kids Day events is to give kids something fun to look forward to when they come to the dentist, which they can hopefully think of as fond memories in the future. At the end of the day, when a child says “This is the best day ever!” we feel we have done our job.
