Introducing: Dr. Gregory Wang – Our New Seattle Dentist
We are happy to announce a new special addition to our staff, Dr. Gregory Wang. With such a busy schedule here at Fidler on the Tooth, we’ve decided we needed more help! After a long search for that perfect Seattle dentist with the same philosophical views and demeanor as the rest of the providers here, we came upon Dr. Wang. He’s been a perfect match for our practice. A lot of our patients have enjoyed their encounter with Dr. Wang.
When asked why he chose dentistry, he said, “Ever since I was a kid, I knew I wanted to be in the health field. Dentistry was a natural choice for me as I am able to see how I can impact an individual’s quality of life. It gives me a great sense of accomplishment when someone comes in with a toothache and leaves pain free or when I can give back a person’s smile. One of my favorite memories was an outreach during dental school to Grenada where I was able to transform a person’s smile in a matter of a few hours.”
After he graduated from NYU College of Dentistry, he completed a postgraduate General Practice Residency at NYU Langone in Brooklyn, NY in 2014. Dr. Wang gained a tremendous amount of experience at the Trauma I center, and enjoyed the experience so much that he stayed a second year as chief resident. As a chief, he was supervising and teaching 19 PGY-I dental residents in comprehensive dentistry. In addition, he was awarded Resident of the Year as a PGY-I and Oral Surgery Resident of the Year as PGY-II.
FUN FACTS ABOUT DR. WANG:
- I know how to solve a Rubik’s Cube. My personal best was a little under 3 minutes.
- I am fluent in Mandarin and conversational in Spanish.
- After moving to the Pacific Northwest, my wife and I have enjoyed outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing. It was a lot of fun being able to snow shoe at Mount Rainer.
- Some of my favorite shows: How I Met Your Mother, Fresh Off the Boat, Big Bang Theory.

We do enjoy having Dr. Wang at our office and it seems, he likes us as well. Here’s what he has to say about “The Fidlettes”:
“Although I have not been at Fidler on the Tooth for long, I feel that everyone is like family here. When I first walked in, there is sense of camaraderie and friendliness. Everyone is passionate about teeth and works together to make sure the patients receive the best care possible.”
