Wings of Karen Bra Dash
by Vicki FidlerRecently, Seattle Dentist, Dr. Vicki Fidler and her family participated in the 4th Annual Wings of Karen Bra Dash. This is a great event raising money for cancer research in the Pacific N.W.
Dr. Fidler and her family decided to do this 5k because they found it to be a great bonding experience decorating bras together, racing/walking with each other, and for such a great cause.
Besides the hope of a cure for breast cancer for all people affected by the disease. The money raised is used locally to help provide jobs and funding for research.
Dr. Fidler said this is more than a 5k, this is a race to save lives and together we can help create a world without breast cancer. She also said it was incredibly moving to see survivors before the event on stage, awards for best decorated bra’s, and all the bra’s on a huge clothes line at the end of the race.
This is an annual race that Dr. Fidler and her family will keep attending year after year.
